CRB beats Ceará and advances to the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil;

As they also won the first leg 1-0, CRB only played for a draw to advance to the next stage. With another victory, they secured qualification with an aggregate score of 2-0.

CRB’s opponent in the round of 16 will only be known in a draw held by the CBF, which has not yet been scheduled.

The two teams return to the field next Sunday (26). Ceará turns the key to the Brazilian Serie B and faces Chapecoense. CRB, on the other hand, has another decisive match: it plays against Bahia in the semifinal of the Copa do Nordeste. The teams compete in a single match for a place in the final.
