Everton Cebolinha suffers new injury and leaves Flamengo again

Everton Cebolinha is back in Flamengo ‘s medical department . The club reported, this Friday (21), that the striker underwent tests that confirmed an injury to his right hip .

Thus, the number 11 is missing for the classic against Fluminense , on Sunday (23), for the Brazilian Championship .

Flamengo’s statement does not indicate a recovery period for the attacker, who has already started treatment with the DM at Ninho do Urubu.

This is Cebolinha’s third physical problem this season. In April, the number 11 suffered an injury to his right calf that took him out of five matches.

This month, the attacker left the match against Grêmio, on the 13th, with pain in his right thigh, and was left out of the game against Athletico, on the 16th, because of this.

Now, Cebolinha is back on Flamengo’s list of absences, which starts with Arrascaeta, Viña, De La Cruz, Varela and Pulgar, called up for the Copa América.
