Flamengo, Palmeiras and São Paulo make facilities available to clubs in Rio Grande do Sul;
Flamengo, Palmeiras and São Paulo made their club facilities available to Grêmio, Internacional and Juventude, clubs affected by the rains in Rio Grande do Sul. In a note published this Tuesday (7) on social media, the three teams lamented the situation and made training centers and stadiums available to teams from Rio Grande do Sul.
“Flamengo makes CT George Helal (Ninho do Urubu) available; Palmeiras offers the Football Academy, Allianz Parque and Arena Barueri; São Paulo proposes reception at CT de Cotia and MorumBIS”, specified the note.
Still in the text, the three clubs suggested that the CBF also make Granja Comary, a training center for the Brazilian team, located in Teresópolis, mountainous region of Rio de Janeiro, available. This way, the clubs would have another place to shelter.
This Tuesday morning (7), the CBF decided to postpone games involving clubs from Rio Grande do Sul until May 27th . The decision applies to home or away games, totaling 43 postponed matches.

As representatives of Flamengo, Palmeiras and São Paulo, presidents Rodolfo Landim, Leila Pereira and Julio Casares met this Tuesday morning (07) to discuss new actions to support Rio Grande do Sul clubs at this difficult time in the history of Rio Grande southern.
The three associations express their solidarity and deeply regret the tragedy caused by heavy rains in the state. In addition to the actions already carried out and others that will be promoted, the three clubs decided to make their infrastructure available to Grêmio, Internacional and Youth. In this way, these teams, heavily impacted by the consequences of the natural disaster, will be able to use our facilities for accommodation, training and games, if they wish.
Flamengo makes available CT George Helal (Ninho do Urubu); Palmeiras offers the Football Academy, Allianz Parque and Arena Barueri; São Paulo proposes reception at CT de Cotia and MorumBIS.
Likewise, the three clubs strongly believe that the CBF, in its role as the highest entity in national football, can make Granja Comary available as another place to shelter the clubs in Rio Grande do Sul, among other forms of support.
