Fluminense draws with Criciúma, scores again, but remains in last place

Fluminense snatched a draw in injury time with Criciúma, this Thursday (11), away from home, in the 16th round of the Brasileirão. The 1-1, however, keeps the Rio de Janeiro team at the bottom of the championship .

Young Kauã Elias, just 18 years old, scored the goal that earned Tricolor a point in injury time. Matheusinho had scored Tigre’s goal in the 8th minute of the second half.

Fluminense has not won in 13 rounds

Despite getting an important point, Fluminense remains in an extremely uncomfortable situation in the Brasileirão: it has gone 13 rounds without winning and has only one victory in the championship.

With eight points, the Rio de Janeiro team remains in last place and is seven points behind Cuiabá, the first team outside the relegation zone, which has one game less.

In the next round, they face Athletico-PR at Maracanã, in a match with no confirmed date yet.

Criciúma remained in 14th place, with 17 points, and has two games less than Fluminense in the table. Next Tuesday (16), Tigre visits Corinthians at Neo Química Arena.
