Internacional advances to sign Palmeiras midfielder

Midfielder Bruno Tabata is close to becoming a new signing for  Internacional . Colorado is making the final bureaucratic adjustments to announce the definitive acquisition of the 27-year-old midfielder, who belongs to  Palmeiras  and was on loan to Qatar SC. The deal values ​​are still being kept confidential.

Tabata had a good season in Qatar.  He played in 28 matches, scored 13 goals and also provided seven assists. The expectation was that the midfielder would be acquired permanently by the team from the East, but there was a delay in the release of funds for signings by the local government.

Internacional then appeared in the deal and is close to announcing the deal with the player, who had been training at Palmeiras since the 25th and was not part of coach Abel Ferreira’s plans.

Tabata’s history at Palmeiras

Bruno Tabata was signed by Palmeiras from Sporting, Portugal, in 2022. The cost of the transaction was 5 million euros at the time.

The player, however, fluctuated at Verdão. In the first year, he played 15 matches and gave one assist. In 2023, he played 17 games and scored two goals  until he was loaned to Qatar SC .

Bruno Tabata had a contract with Palmeiras until the end of the 2026 season.
