King of Spain is scared by the age of national team star; watch

The Spanish team received a special visit from King Felipe VI , after the 1-0 victory against Italy, in Gelsenkirchen, last Thursday (20), for Euro 2024.

The registration was made by the Spanish Federation. King Felipe was in the Spanish dressing room and made a point of greeting the players and squad. When talking to Lamine Yamal, he was startled by the age of Fury’s jewel: “16?”, he asked, jokingly raising his hand to his head (see the video above) .

At 16 years old, Yamal is one of Spain’s great promises . The young man plays for Barcelona and has 10 goals and 8 assists in 58 matches in the 2023/24 season for the Catalan club.

The majesty was also presented with a shirt personalized with his name. Last Wednesday (19), King Felipe VI completed ten years on the Spanish throne.

With the victory over the Italians , Spain guaranteed a place in the next phase of the European tournament. The team leads Group B with six points. Italy has three, Albania and Croatia are on 1 point each.
