Previously a starter, midfielder leaves Vasco and approaches Athletico-PR

Out of Vasco ‘s plans  , midfielder Praxedes is in Curitiba to undergo medical examinations and sign with  Athletico-PR .  The player was on loan to Cruzmaltino by  Red Bull Bragantino , who did not want to welcome him back before the end of the contract.

Praxedes was even a starter for the team in some games with Rafael Paiva .  A mistake in the game against Atlético, which resulted in Hulk’s second goal in that duel , was the last straw for the fans. Praxedes was heavily criticized.

Seeing the situation and with six games played in the Brasileirão, Vasco understood that it would be better not to list him anymore and suggested an agreement to end the loan to Red Bull Bragantino . However, Massa Bruta did not accept.

Athletico-PR emerged as one of the interested parties and negotiations proceeded quickly. The club from Paraná does not intend to make any new investments and considers Praxedes as a market opportunity.

Praxedes played 35 games for Cruzmaltino, scoring two goals and providing two assists. Last year, the club paid R$1 million for him to play against Red Bull Bragantino in the last round of Série A.
