The Brazilians appear only in the “Silver Selection”, that is, in the second best team in LALIGA according to the Spanish daily. In it, Yan Couto and Savinho, both from Girona, keep Vini Jr. company.

In the “Bronze Team”, Atlético de Madrid left-back Samuel Lino is the only Brazilian elected by Marca.

Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior is one of the finalists for the LALIGA best player award in the 2023/2024 season, which will be awarded by the entity that organizes the Spanish Championship. Savinho, Girona’s striker, is in the running for the best under-23 award in the competition.

The five finalists in each category were announced by LALIGA at an event last Thursday (23), which was attended by tournament ambassadors and journalists from around the world, in which CNN Brasil was present virtually. The announcement of the winners will be made this Tuesday (28).

A champion with Real Madrid, Vini Jr competes with teammate Jude Bellingham; Antoine Griezmann, from Atletico Madrid; Isco, from Real Betis; and Girona’s Artem Dovbyk, Espanyol’s second-top scorer.

In the award for the best under-23 athlete of the season, Savinho competes with Cubarsí and Lamine Yamal, both from Barcelona; Valencia’s Javi Guerra; and Real Betis’ Johnny Cardoso.
